Washing
Superwash Yarns -
Handwash in cool water with your favourite wool wash. Lay flat or block to dry. Although superwash yarn can technically be put in the washing machine, I would always recommend handwashing to keep your items looking their best for longer.
Non-Superwash Yarns -
Handwash in cold water; use minimal wool wash.
As with all hand-dyed yarns, I recommend hand washing gently in cold water.
I take great care to thoroughly rinse every skein to minimise any colour bleeding. However, due to the nature of hand-dyed yarn, I cannot guarantee that some colours won’t release a small amount of dye during the first few washes.
Highly saturated and deeper colourways may be more prone to bleeding, so I recommend washing these separately, particularly when pairing them with lighter colours in your project.
