What inspires me?

Well, it's the simple joys in life - long walks with our beloved dogs, winter nights wrapped in cosy knits, breathtaking sunsets, mesmerizing moonrises, and the love and laughter shared with family and friends. I find inspiration in everything and I channel that into every skein of yarn I dye.

My fibre arts journey began when I was 14 years old. It all started with a promise to knit a blanket for my baby nephew. Little did I know that 26 years later, that blanket would still be a work in progress. Perhaps it's the longest WIP in the world?

Since then, I have been knitting and crocheting on and off, but it was in 2013 that I discovered my true passion - dyeing yarn and fibre. What started as a small venture for felting projects quickly blossomed into a full-blown love affair with the creative process. From envisioning the perfect colour combinations to watching the yarn transform in the dye pots, every step fills me with joy.
